In order that all students in the CYBM program have a solid groundwork upon which the rest of the program can build a distinct body of knowledge in a technology discipline is vital. Students will need to have formal exposure to the core areas of computer technology, 计算机科学 and computer information systems.  Those applicants who do not meet the necessary requirements will be required to complete a bridge course before entering the program and the admission will be contingent on completion of it. This course is offered over the Summer and needs to be completed before the beginning of the Fall semester.

Students who have obtained an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field will typically already have this knowledge and experience.  In such a case, the requirement is usually waived. Occasionally, a student’s demonstrated work experience may be sufficient to waive this course.

Many factors influence the success of a graduate student, factors such as an applicant’s maturity, 动机, 工作经历, work experience and other accomplishments will also be considered in making admission decisions. All applicants are considered on an individual basis.
